These three layouts are the most common installations we provide, but individual yards can be customized as needed.
Note: the yellow areas is the warning zone and red areas are correction zone, on average. Dogs will avoid even the warning zone by a few feet once they are trained!
Full Perimeter Loop
The most common installation is a Full Perimeter loop. This is where a wire is installed completely around your property giving your pet free range in your yard.
Figure 8 or "Pinch in"
The second most common installation is what is called our figure 8 or pinch in. This is where the wire is installed around the property just like the full perimeter loop only with a pinch in the middle creating a 2 zone system allowing the dog only in the back yard or the front yard. You dictate where you would like your dog to be on the property.
Double loop or Banana Loop
When you are looking to have 1 zone such as only a front yard or only a backyard loop. We often install what we call a double loop or banana loop. This is where the wire is installed around the area you are looking to contain your dog. Meaning...you only want the loop in the backyard or only in the front yard.
